Marathon Relay Awards Ceremony:

Transition Points:
First leg is 4.8 miles long, from the Starting Line at Third & Tijeras Avenue to Transition #1, on the Paseo del Bosque Trail at Gabaldon Place. Access to the transition point is from Rio Grande Blvd., turn west on Mountain Rd. to Gabaldon Rd. Turn on Gabaldon Rd., under I-40 to Gabaldon Pl. with parking lot at the end of the road.

Second leg is 6.2 miles long, from Transition #1 at Gabaldon Pl to Transition #2 at mile 11, on the trail parallel to Paseo del Norte Blvd. Access the transition point by driving north on Rio Grande Blvd. Before crossing over Paseo del Norte Blvd., turn left on the gravel road to enter the parking lot.

Third leg is 4.2 miles long, from Transition #2 to the turnaround at mile 13.1 and returning to Transition #3 (same place and access as Transition #2)

Fourth leg is 6.2 miles long, from Transition #3 to Transition #4 at Paseo del Bosque Trail at Gabaldon Pl. (same as Transition #1).

Fifth leg is 4.8 miles long, from Transition #4 at Gabaldon Pl. to the Finish Line at Third & Tijeras Ave.

Water Station, portable toilets, and official observer at each transition point. Runners responsible for own transportation to transition points.

Awards:
Overall Winners - Medals will be given to the top three teams in the male, coed and female categories. Medals will be distributed at the Awards Table on Civic Plaza as soon as the top 3 teams in each category have been confirmed. There are no age group medals for the Marathon Relay.
